What does Easy Plug™ mean?
i-Lighting’s LED lighting system utilizes the patented Easy Plug™ technology. Our patented ILUMA™ lighting products install easily with our wiring system. Wiring simply plugs together and it works with the patented polarity correcting circuits. Cutting, splicing, and wire nutting are not required, thereby reducing installation time by half, and creating minimal failure points (compared to traditional lighting systems).
The i-Lighting Simplified & Design™ system can assist you with designing a custom lighting system to enhance any indoor or outdoor lighting project so you can enjoy your home for years to come.
Will the lights become Hot or Warm to the touch?
NO. The lights are LED and do not generate heat.
How long do the LEDs last?
The LEDs operate for approximately 50,000 hours, 30,000 hours (3 years) of which are covered by our limited warranty. PLEASE NOTE: the limited warranty does NOT cover the replacement of products affected by: improper installation, power supplies greater than 12 volts, power surges caused by storms, severed wires, or lights damaged by animals, or lawn equipment.
How bright are the LED lights?
LED brightness is measured in lumens. Lumens are measured by wattage. i-Lighting’s 10mm light strips are approximately 880 lumens per foot, and our 5mm light strips are approximately 352 lumens per foot.
What is the Kelvin rating of the LED lights?
Kelvin is a unit of temperature used to measure the whiteness of the light output. i-Lighting’s clear white LED is 4,000°K and the warm yellow LED is 3,000°K.
